The IoT Buttons Module connect up to your WiFi and send a signal to the BlueSky Wireless cloud service. Your on-site BlueSky Messaging System connects to the same BlueSky Wireless cloud service and receives information about any button presses. When a button is pressed, the BlueSky Messaging System knows which button it was and can send a pre-defined message. Each button can be configured with a different message subject, body, destination and priority.

Buttons support several different types of clicks, which can be configured to behave differently:

• Short press
• Long press
• Double press

Key features

The Key features of this module are:

• Receive button presses from IoT Buttons through the BlueSky Wireless cloud service.
• Send messages alerting of button presses to different message destinations.
• Battery level of buttons is monitored with every key press * When the battery starts to run low, warning messages can be dispatched to maintenance teams to replace the button in question. The thresholds for the battery warnings are configurable, as is the destination for the warning messages.
• BlueSky Wireless can provide holders for the buttons that can include an acrylic cover with a prompt for the button to be pressed, with custom branding.
