There are two alternative Email Sender modules that both achieve the same result:

Email SMTP Sender

This module connects directly to an SMTP server over the network in order to send emails. This can either be an SMTP server supplied by the customer, or it can use an SMTP server supplied by BlueSky Wireless that is accessible on the Internet.

Email Cloud Sender

This module connects to a BlueSky Wireless cloud service in order to send emails. This is useful in environments that do not allow outbound SMTP traffic through the firewall.

The Email Sender module supports sending attachments with messages, including audio files for messages with audio associated such as messages from the Mitel Call Point module. All BlueSky Messaging Systems come with the Email Sender module in order to send emails as any faults that occur on the system are generally sent via email to the BlueSky Wireless support team.
