BlueSky Wireless Ltd built the BlueSky Messaging Client app. This SERVICE is provided by BlueSky Wireless Ltd and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The BlueSky Messaging Client communicates with your company’s BlueSky Messaging Gateway, and all data is stored on that BlueSky Messaging Gateway.

What & Why

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Unique Device Identifier

We assign your device a unique identifier number when the app first starts. This identifier is tied only to your device, and is stored on your device. It is transmitted to your BlueSky Messaging Gateway and used to license devices on the BlueSky Messaging Gateway.

Unique Session Identifier

When you log in to the app, a unique session identifier is generated for your login session. This session identifier is tied to your login, and when you log out or your session expires the session identifier is deleted. It is stored in encrypted storage on your device, and stored on your BlueSky Messaging Gateway. This is used to identify which user you are logged in as.

Push Notifications

We use push notifications to send you alerts of new messages. In order to send push notifications, we use the following services:

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

These services require unique tokens to identify devices to allow push notifications to be sent to them. We store these unique tokens on the BlueSky Cloud Service in order to send you notifications for new messages.

If you no longer wish to receive push notifications for new messages, you can turn these off in your device’s settings. Note that you will no longer be notified of any new messages.

Who We Share This Information With

This information is only stored on your BlueSky Messaging Gateway, and may be shared with the following entities:

  • Your company’s IT staff, who may require information such as your device identifier in order to troubleshoot any issues with the functioning of your device.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
